It seems that the Videoseven LTV27CH, which we declared as the UK's cheapest big screen LCD HDTV set the other day, has a rival. Dell is apparently selling its W2600, a 26inch LCD set for an ultra competitive £378 –£100 less than the 27inch Videoseven LTV27CH. The set doesn’t have a HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) socket but it does have a DVI (Digital, video input) that also features HDCP which makes it compatible with the copyright protection system for Sky’s upcoming transmissions. Other features include SRS TruSurround XT virtual surround sound, picture-in-picture (with two tuners) and a PC connection.
